About The Lobster
Hut
My
thoughts during the summer brought on the idea of barbeques. Many different
types of barbeque went through my mind. Finally, the love of seafood
blended with these thoughts and Sea B Q Inc., was born.
In the summer of '89 an opportunity to be a part of our local county
fair came to pass. I couldn't resist trying out my new "idea". I would
barbeque lobsters, put them on a skewer with beef and shrimp. A special
marinade would complete the entrée. Could this be a regular at a concession
stand? I hoped it would work. The "Lobster Hut" was born.
As time passed the endeavors increased. There were races at Indy, Las
Vegas, Dallas and California. The Kentucky Derby, Breeders Cup, and
The Allentown Art Festival to name a few of the many places that The
Lobster Hut could and can be seen.
There were many of my friends that said, "Open a restaurant!" Patrons
at the festivals asked, "Where is the Lobster Hut? Are you a local restaurant?"
My answer to all who asked, "a restaurant is too much like a real job."
I enjoy the "day to day" business but truly like the flexibility of
choosing what I do, and where I do it. To complement the big events,
catering for local charities, businesses and friends have filled much
of my calendar.
The goal of my business is and always has been, to serve quality, healthy
and good tasting foods. I take pride in knowing that I will adjust my
menu selections to meet the needs of my clients. No matter how large
or small the event. Whether I 'm serving thousands at the Derby, or
friends in their homes, I have given them the best menu I could. The
freshest of foods, land or sea have graced their table.
Now, how can I help you create an event large or small that you and
your friends will remember?
